A quick way to think about protection: wax lasts a few months, ceramic coating protects for years and makes the bike far easier to keep clean, and PPF (paint protection film) adds physical impact resistance wax and ceramic can't. Prices shown are the total for your full detail plus ceramic coating together — not an add-on stacked on top. Ceramic-ceramic coating pricing is based on paint condition, not the motorcycle's age. Bikes requiring significant swirl, oxidation, water-spot, or scratch removal receive a custom paint-correction quote.
Ceramic coating replaces the wax sealant included with the base detail. Appropriate surfaces are washed and chemically or mechanically decontaminated based on their material and finish before the ceramic coating is applied. Ceramic coating is applied to every suitable exterior surface except the engine, exhaust, and wheels — wheels are cleaned and protected as part of your detail, but are not ceramic coated. It's never applied to tires, brake components, seats, grips, foot controls, or other surfaces where ceramic coating could affect safety or function. Ceramic coating only goes on reachable surfaces — bodywork, fairings, and hardware aren't removed to coat underneath or behind parts. Matte and satin finishes may be coated when compatible, but they are not machine polished or paint-corrected — pricing is confirmed after inspecting the finish. The ceramic coating is manufacturer-rated for up to two years with proper preparation, maintenance, and storage; real-world durability varies based on use, exposure, and care. Ceramic coating helps resist UV exposure, road grime, bugs, and chemical contamination while making the motorcycle easier to clean — it does not prevent rock chips, dents, or deep scratches.
